The injury lords are wasting no time testing Arkansas' depth at the skill positions this season. A couple of days after learning that top receiver Keon Hatcher will be out "at least six weeks" with a foot injury, Arkansas announced Wednesday junior receiver Cody Hollister will be having surgery Wednesday afternoon after suffering a foot injury in practice this week.
Hollister was coming off the most productive game of his career against Toledo, catching a career-high four passes for 65 yards. He was listed in a reserve spot on the depth chart heading into the Texas Tech game.
Bret Bielema released a statement as the news was breaking and stated the team expects Hollister to make a full recovery and return to the team this season. He did not give a timeline for when the return could take place.
Foot injuries are unfortunately becoming all too common for Arkansas this season, in addition to Hollister and Hatcher, a foot injury is sidelining running back Jonathan Williams for the season. How much can the Razorbacks take?
