The team practiced twice on Monday and once on Tuesday.
They're not talking about Otha Peters, but here's how the roster looks without him (Brooks Ellis is 1st team middle linebacker):

Josh Williams after practice: "I just wanted to help the team out. Coach Pittman came down to Dodge City and told me how the depth was thin on linebackers, so I took the chance."
Randy Shannon on Williams: "He’s doing an unbelievable job right now. He’s still a little behind because he wasn’t here during the spring, but today I think was probably the best practice that he’s had in fall camp. He started off a little rugged at first, but he’s coming along." Shannon went on to say he's been doing well in the run game but today really showed progress in pass defense. He struggled against the pass during the first week in camp.

On Monday the team practiced goal line and goal-to-go situations, which they did not do in Saturday's scrimmage. Jim Chaney says they're working on several situational drills all week: "We have to make sure we have all the situations in: third medium, third long, third short, goal line, red zone. Every one of them so everybody knows and you install your packages there. We’re getting close, and then we go back and do it again and fine tune the details."
Receivers coach Michael Smith on freshman wideout Kendrick Edwards: "You’ve got a kid that’s 6-6, real smooth and has the ability to catch the ball naturally. He has a good demeanor about him and has picked up what we’ve put on his plate pretty well and he just brings a different dimension that we haven’t had since Coach Bielema and myself have been here." He'll play this year.
