A&M weekend is supposed to focus recruiting on the DFW area, but the Razorbacks picked up a commitment out of Georgia heading into the weekend.
Kiel Pollard is Arkansas' 15th commitment in this class and is being recruited as an athlete. In the highlight video above, he's playing wide receiver and quarterback, but it's also very possible he could end up playing defense for the Razorbacks. As we all know, the Hogs are brutally low on linebackers.
Pollard is a consensus 3-star prospect and chose the Razorbacks over offers from Georgia Tech, Iowa, UCF, Cal, Boston College, Cincinnati and several others. He took an official visit to Fayetteville last weekend for the Texas Tech game AND STILL WANTS TO BE A HOG.
According to Richard Davenport, "Pollard recorded 66 catches for 830 yards and 7 touchdowns as a junior. He has 18 receptions for 301 yards and 5 touchdowns along with 6 rushes for 20 yards and 4 touchdowns in five games this season."
