Arkansas has struggled to recruit linebackers in recent years, but this year they've already got two out-of-state 'backers committed early in the year with the new commitment from Alexy Jean-Baptiste from South Florida.
Jean-Baptiste is a 3* prospect with a lengthy offer list from the likes of Miami, Michigan State, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Louisville, and 20 others. Clearly a nice pickup for the Razorbacks.
Vernon Hargreaves was tasked with the challenge of continuing Arkansas' recruiting momentum in South Florida, and this is really his first big pickup. He has been the lead recruiter for Jean-Baptiste along with Robb Smith.
Hog LB commit @Alexy_badger on LB coach @vh3omega. "He was recruiting me hard, he was always on me."

As mentioned, Jean-Baptiste is the second linebacker commitment of this class along with Dejon Harris from Louisiana. It's really nice to get these lined up early in the year. He's also the 8th total commitment of the class.
Also, Alexy Jean-Baptiste is a really great name. That should never be discounted.
