Arkansas Recruiting Update: T.J. Hammonds Commits to the Razorbacks

Athlete (WR/RB) 5'11" 195 lbs. Little Rock, AR (JOE T. ROBINSON HIGH SCHOOL SENATORS!!!!)

Chalk another one up for Bielema and the Razorbacks.

T.J. Hammonds, an explosive athlete out of Pulaski Joe T. Robinson High School in Little Rock, committed to Arkansas while on an unofficial visit to campus on Saturday.

Hammonds is a consensus 3* athlete and has been blowing up in recruiting circles lately, even earning an offer from Georgia just this week to go along with earlier offers from TCU, Oklahoma State, Arizona State, Vanderbilt and others.

He's listed as an "athlete" because he could play different positions. As you can see in the highlight video above, he successfully played both receiver and running back at Robinson. Regardless, he's the second offensive "skill" player Arkansas has committed for 2016 along with receiver Jordan Jones. He's the third total commitment for Arkansas' class. All three of the Hogs' commitments are in-state players. Only Hope defensive end McTelvin Agim holds an in-state offer from the Razorbacks and is still undecided.

I'm very excited for my alma mater to send another player up to the Hill. I believe Hammonds is the first Senator to earn a scholarship from the Razorbacks since Nate Garner signed back in the class of 2003.
