Bret Bielema has selected Brey Cook, Trey Flowers, and Alan Turner to represent the Razorbacks at Bob Holt Days SEC Media Days next week in Hoover, Alabama.
Arkansas is scheduled for the final slot on Wednesday during the event, in which the three players and Bielema will talk to the absurd amount of media gathered for the annual shindig.
All are certainly worthy representatives, but there had been some discussion around the notion that Arkansas should have sent Jonathan Williams or Brandon Allen to the event, as they are likely to be among the team leaders both in the locker room and among the fan base this season. But, and I could be wrong, I believe I remember seeing something last year that Bielema likes to take seniors to these types of events. That would explain the selections he made this year and it would gel with last year's selections of Travis Swanson, Chris Smith, and Kiero Small.
But even if that is his policy, it's certainly debatable if it's a good one. What do you think? Should Bielema change the way he handles this? Does it even matter? Is it all just offseason hawgwash (not unlike Media Days themselves)?
