Arkansas has been looking for quality defensive players in the 2015 class, and today they got a big one.
Wednesday night, highly touted juco lineman Jeremiah Ledbetter committed to Arkansas. Ledbetter took an official visit to Arkansas back in June.
247Sports grades Ledbetter at a 88, a high 3*. Rivals has him rated as a 4* prospect. Originally from Orlando, Ledbetter is currently enrolled at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas. He has offers from Florida, Georgia, Miami, and Oklahoma State. Many recruiting experts questioned whether Arkansas would be able to keep him away from his home state of Florida after the Gators offered.
"As far as I'm concerned, I'm done with my recruitment. Florida might try to come back, but I'm done." - New #Arkansas commit @leddy_55

We believe he'll have two years to play two seasons at Arkansas beginning with the 2015 season.
This commitment moves Arkansas 2015 class ranking up to 22nd in the nation. This is Arkansas 13th commitment in the 2015 class.
This could turn out to be a big month for Arkansas recruiting. 4* TE Will Gragg will announce his decision Tuesday. It'll be interesting to see if improvement on the field turns into big success on the recruiting trail as the season continues.
Calling the Hogs all the way from Hutchinson, KS and Orlando, FL..... Keep building one Hog at a time!
