Jonathan Williams returned to practice Monday morning, so that's obviously good news.

Sebastian Tretola has been working on slimming back down: "Fortunately I’m not 370 pounds anymore, so it’s definitely nice going out there slimmer and lighter to practice every day. But we’re football players, it’s what we do."
Practice highlights, according to UA: The defensive side of the ball put on a spectacular display in the 11-on-11 drill, as they continually pressured the quarterbacks, forcing them to make quick decisions in the pocket … The secondary also had a solid 11-on-11 drill, as Jared Collins had a pair of pass breakups and Rohan Gaines picked off a pass … Starting quarterback Brandon Allen had a strong showing in the two-minute drill, as the junior completed 6-of-9 passes and rushed for a 10-yard score. Allen hooked with tight end Hunter Henry on a 20-yard completion to get into the red zone, and two plays later Allen converted on a third-and-goal situation with a 10-yard scramble for the touchdown … The second team offense also had a successful two-minute drill, as Rafe Peavey connected with Kendrick Edwards for a 35-yard touchdown with three seconds remaining on the clock.
