Tyler Bruggman Transferring From Washington State; Interest In Arkansas?

Ex 4-star #WashState QB Tyler Bruggman has been released to #Arkansas, #Duke, #Louisville & #Indiana, source tells @FoxSports.

So, apparently, Bruggman has some interest in the Razorbacks. It's unknown at this point if Arkansas has any interest in return. We haven't heard any of the local recruiting reporters weigh in.

Bruggman was interested in Arkansas out of high school, and actually visited Fayetteville the day Bobby Petrino was fired back in 2012 (timing!). He had an offer from the Hogs as well as Washington State (obviously), Arizona, Michigan State, UCLA, and others.

Personally, I don't see why Arkansas would bring on another quarterback in the same class as Austin Allen unless there was a belief he'd be better than anyone else on the roster. The quarterback depth chart is already fairly crowded with both Allen brothers, Rafe Peavey, and Ty Storey coming in next year. Remember, the Razorbacks actually moved two quarterbacks, Damon Mitchell and AJ Derby, from quarterback to other positions this spring.

But if he would be better than everybody else, it would be worth seeing how it plays out. If nothing else, the Washington State fans seem disappointed he's leaving.
