According to UA, D'Arthur Cowan has been "suspended from all team activities while maintaining full academic support and guidance." Cowan is still in school, but it appears will be focusing on academics at this point instead of football.
This echos what we were told during spring practice. Cowan did not participate in practices for the first few weeks because of academics, and wasn't expected to participate at all, but his academic situation reportedly improved and he did rejoin the team toward the end of spring practice.
Cowan has had difficulty remaining on the field for Arkansas. An injury sidelined him until midway through 2013, and appeared late in 2012 after attempting to redshirt. He's caught 7 passes for 40 yards in his career thus far.
