Arkansas Razorback fans went into the NFL draft certain that they would see Travis Swanson and Chris Smith drafted before they closed the doors and shut off the lights at the 2014 NFL draft. We were only cautiously optimistic on the draft fates of Kiero Small and Zach Hocker, which made their back to back selections that much sweeter on Saturday. This is the 3rd consecutive season that NFL teams have drafted four Arkansas Razorbacks.
Currently Javontee Herndon, Robert Thomas, and David Hurd have all signed free agent contracts and will have a chance to prove themselves in NFL camps in the coming months.
It's absolutely fantastic to see these players moving on to the next level. Last week, I asked who of the 2014-2015 team would be most likely to be drafted, but now it's time to decide which one of our current players landed in the best situation?
Is it Kiero Small being drafted by the Super Bowl Champion Seahawks? Hocker who will be in a competition against 2-year Redskins kicker Kai Forbath (who doesn't have Hocker's kick-off strength)? Chris Smith who found his way on to the radar of the Jaguars staff at the Senior Bowl? Travis Swanson protecting Matt Stafford and having the chance to play both Guard and Center for that high-powered offense?
You decide in the poll below, or tell us in the comments how one of the free agent signing is going to blow everyone away.
