Arkansas OC Dan Enos Gets Raise & Extension


After leading Arkansas to a big offensive season in 2015, Dan Enos is getting rewarded with a raise and extension. Murphy also notes his buyout is $350k for the next two years. By contrast, DC Robb Smith was bumped to $750k last year and will make $800k this year.

Bielema Announces Five Additions To 2016 Class

Arkansas Coaches Getting Creative In Tyrie Cleveland Recruitment


The entire Arkansas coaching staff gathered at the intersection of Razorback Rd and Cleveland St in Fayetteville (the top of the basketball team's infamous Cleveland Hill) as a clever way to get Tyrie Cleveland's attention. This was tweeted by one of Cleveland's relatives. Also, Richard Davenport reported tonight Arkansas was in Cleveland's final three. He'll make his announcement at 8:00 am Wednesday morning.

This is a shorter trailer but gives a nice glimpse of what life is like on the recruiting trail for the coaches. I've often wondered what kind of weird stuff coaches have been asked to deal with on different in-home visits and this gives some insight on that.

Moses Kingsley Named SEC Player of the Week


The second Razorback to win the award this year after Anthlon Bell. From the press release: "averaged 17.5 points and 11 rebounds in wins over No. 5 Texas A&M and Texas Tech. Kingsley posted 18 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and two blocks to hand No. 5 Texas A&M its first conference loss of the year. After going scoreless and without a rebound in the first half against Texas Tech, he recorded a double-double the rest of the way with 17 points and 11 rebounds in the overtime victory. He hit the first bucket of overtime against Texas Tech and scored four points and added three rebounds in the extra period. Kingsley has three consecutive double-doubles and ranks second in the SEC with 11 double-doubles on the year. He is one of five Power Five Conference players in the country with 11-plus double-doubles this season."

Arkansas To Hang Banner for Eddie Sutton in Bud Walton Arena


It appears Arkansas is going to continue hanging banners for the basketball legends after beginning last year. Eddie Sutton will have his own banner unveiled during halftime of the Missouri game on February 20th.
