The Arkansas Razorbacks took care of business on Saturday against Georgia Southern when other teams ranked ahead of them did not.

13th ranked UCLA lost to unranked Fresno State on a touchdown with 14 seconds remaining in the game. West Virginia opened a can on 15th ranked Virginia Tech early in the first half but were able to secure a six point victory 27-21.

Down in Miami, (Fla.) the Hurricanes forgot to show up at Hard Rock Stadium again. They lost 38-17 to unranked Michigan State. The Spartans move into the top 25 for the first time under second-year head coach Mel Tucker.

There were two top-25 matchups on Saturday. 19th ranked Arizona State fell to BYU on Saturday night 27-17. Alabama and Florida met for a rematch of the SEC Championship game. The Gators chomped their way back in it after a 21-3 start. An early missed extra point attempt hurt their chance to tie the game late. The Crimson Tide prevailed with a 31-29 victory.

With the Arkansas Razorbacks moving to 16th it is their highest ranking since the week of October 8, 2016 when they played Alabama at home.

The Razorbacks will face off against 7th-ranked Texas A&M on Saturdays at 2:30 on CBS.
