Phil Steele, a college football analyst, released his preseason All-American list this week, and three players represent the Razorbacks. Among those chosen are Treylon Burks, Grant Morgan, and Jalen Catalon. All three will be crucial to Arkansas’ success this season. Last season, Jalen Catalon set the tempo for the Razorback secondary, while Grant Morgan led the team in tackles and received post-season All-American accolades. First-team All-American selection Treylon Burks is sure to be the biggest weapon for Kendall Briles and the Arkansas offense this season.

Eight Razorbacks were also chosen in Steele’s preseason All-SEC list. Bumper Pool, Grant Morgan, and Jalen Catalon represent the Arkansas defense and will be the defensive anchors this year. Treylon Burks and Trelon Smith are the two offensive skill players chosen by Steele, while Myron Cunningham and Ricky Stromberg represent the offensive line. Additionally, Jordan Silver was selected as the third-team long snapper.

This group of Razorbacks must continue their on-field excellence for continued improvement in Sam Pittman’s second year.
