Only Jordan Jones pulled the trigger quicker than he didThe Star City product is one of the strongest players in the state, power cleaning 360 pounds. Even though he was committed to the Razorbacks for so long, he still got a handful of attention from nearly every other SEC West team. He visited Auburn and LSU, while both Mississippi schools made an offer.
Despite coming from a smaller school, Capps is one of the highest rated recruits from the state. He is a consensus 4-star player, and was the second highest rated in the state by 247Sports and the fourth best by ESPN.
Strength and size wise, Capps might already be SEC ready even if he needs to develop some more skills. The good news is that Capps probably won't be needed right off the bat.
