Arkansas Razorbacks Internet Chatter - Bielema Breaks Down the Class and Current Roster and More

Taking a look at what wasn't the best signing day for Arkansas.

Signing Day came and went on Wednesday and Bielema is obviously excited about the 20 new Razorbacks coming into the program. He said as much at his press conference in the afternoon, but possibly more interesting were his comments on the current roster. He discussed the quarterbacks, players switching positions and a few players suspended for a week during the offseason to get their heads straight. It's all here.

If a national signing day update is what you're looking for, look no further. Brace yourself because the results of signing day are going to shock you. The big winner was...Alabama. What actually looked like it could be a down recruiting year for Bama turned around in an instant with a monster signing day. They left it late but got some major blue chip guys at the last minute. Georgia is the only other SEC school listed as the seven major winners and an interesting surprise in Houston, who nabbed some major players this year.

Bret Bielema got some attention from his comments about Florida as well. He definitely is no stranger to raising eyebrows with his comments. Whether or not it actually was intended as a compliment or not, it went viral immediately. Hugh Freeze even went on Ole Miss' recruiting show saying that he got a call from Bielema explaining his comment. So evidently Bielema wanted to clean up any possible misunderstandings as soon as he could.

Some good news has come up from some current Razorbacks as well. Bielema said that Raleigh Williams should be good to go for the 2016 season. He has been cleared for non contact scrimmages in the spring but Bielema will likely hold him out from those. Another couple interesting notes is that Hjalte Froholdt has switched positions to offensive guard and Randy Ramsey is back with the team as a walk on.
