Keon Hatcher Injured; Arkansas WR Out At Least 6 Weeks

The Razorbacks' top receiver is having surgery on his foot Monday afternoon.

Is this season doomed?

It's starting to get that Murphy's Law vibe about it. Ever since Jonathan Williams injured his foot early in preseason camp, it seems very little has gone right for this team.

Arkansas' top wide receiver, Hatcher was one of several Razorbacks hurt in Saturday's game against Toledo. He's the only one of those injured players not listed on the depth chart for Texas Tech. Bielema announced at his weekly Monday press conference that Hatcher would be out for "at least" six weeks. If we're doing our math correctly, it appears best-case scenario is that he could return for the Auburn game, but that's certainly up in the air at this point.

Hatcher was leading the SEC in receiving yards after the first two weeks with 198 yards, and has clearly been Brandon Allen's top target.

It appears the three starting receivers are Jared Cornelius, Drew Morgan, and JoJo Robinson. Robinson will be taking Hatcher's place on kickoff returns as well.
