As is to probably be expected, Bret Bielema was not definitive regarding Brandon Allen's status for the Missouri game, but he did indicate things are moving in the right direction.
Bielema on Allen's status: "If Brandon continues to move in the direction he’s already started in there’s not going to be any problem."

Bielema says QB Brandon Allen practiced. "Looked pretty good...ran around. Threw the ball really well. Didn't want to re-aggravate anything"

That's in line with what Bielema said on Monday would be the plan for Allen this week. In fact he may be ahead of schedule. In his weekly press conference Bielema said the plan was to run around on Tuesday and throw on Wednesday, but if he's already throwing "really well" that could be a good sign.
Bielema also tweeted this Tuesday night:
Was good to have our #HOGS back healthy and to watch @BrandonAllen_10 run around and throw today. Tough kids who love to play #HogBall

I started the week thinking there were long odds that Allen would play on Friday, but I'm starting to come around more. It certainly looks like Brandon playing is at least very possible.
Unless Bielema tweets a definitive answer before Friday afternoon, we won't know for sure until game time. This will be the last we hear from him until after the game.
