It is imperative that I rebound from last weekend's picks. Had it not been for Dougy McBuckets and Alex Caruso, I would have walked away from last weekend looking good. It's time to redeem myself ... hopefully.
SEC Action
Tennessee at No. 13 Kentucky - 11 am CST on CBS
Kentucky is going to come out playing angry Saturday. Cats win big at home, and none of their players get stepped at. Winner: Kentucky.
Arkansas at Georgia - 12:30 pm CST on ESPN3
Arkansas needs to verify its win over Kentucky with a road win at Georgia. The Bulldogs aren't a pushover, but its a very winnable game.
Texas A&M at Mississippi State - 12:30 pm CST on ESPN3
The Aggies will stay amongst the top of the SEC for another weekend. Winner: Texas A&M.
Alabama at Missouri - 1 pm CST on ESPN
Have Faith in Haith if you want. I will, at least for this weekend. Winner: Missouri.
No. 7 Florida at Auburn - 3 pm CST on ESPN3
This one is going to get ugly. Florida is Final 4 legit in my opinion. Once Billy D gets Prather back, the Gators will be on a mission for Dallas. Winner: Florida.
Ole Miss at South Carolina - 3:30 pm CST on ESPN3
I like Marshall Henderson and the Rebels in this one. I need to see one of these in this game or the game didn't really happen. Winner: Ole Miss.
Vanderbilt at LSU - 8 pm CST on ESPNU
Maybe one of these days LSU will play a full game to its potential. This one might be it. Winner: LSU.
Top Non-SEC Games
No. 25 Oklahoma at No. 12 Baylor - 1 pm CST on ESPN2
Baylor doesn't impress me. Especially after being throttled by TEXAS TECH AND THE FIGHTING TUBBY SMITHS. Winner: Oklahoma.
No. 22 Pittsburgh at No. 2 Syracuse - 3 pm CST on ESPN
The Orange are one of the two team I have picked to win the whole deal. Syracuse, in its first season in the ACC, is already the power of the conference. The Orange roll Pitt. Winner: Syracuse.
No. 9 Oklahoma State at No. 15 Kansas - 3 pm CST on CBS
I have a man crush on Marcus Smart and his game. Smart, Markel Brown and Le'Bryan Nash are tough matches. I'm calling for somewhat of an upset. Cowboys win in Phog Allen. Winner: Oklahoma State.
No. 18 Louisville at Connecticut - 8 pm CST on ESPN
UConn's win over Memphis in Memphis Thursday night tells me UConn might have turned the corner. Shabazz Napier and Ryan Boatright will be a handful for Russ Smith and Rick Pitino. Winner: UConn
SUNDAY
Minnesota at No. 14 Iowa - Noon CST on Big Ten Network
Minnesota just did Arkansas' RPI a huge favor with its win over No. 11 Ohio State Thursday. Now, if the Gophers could pull something else out of a hat, that'd be terrific. That Minnesota win is looking awfully good right about now for Arkansas. Winner: Iowa.
