Tipping the scales at 317 lb and standing at a towering 6-7 is junior guard Brey Cook. A highly touted tackle out of Springdale-Harber, Cook has played almost every position on the offensive front for the Hogs, aside from center, and has seen action in 23 games since becoming a Razorback.
With 74 days to go until the Bret Bielema era begins here in Arkansas, you have to believe that Cook is looking to establish a name for himself this year- a name fit for a man of his stature. Bielema is just the man to help him do that, after having11 linemen drafted during his 7 year tenure with Wisconsin.
After a few years of less than stellar O-line play, the group will look to establish a new identity this season. They need to not only improve, but learn a whole new playbook. With the hunger of the fan base to get back to the winning ways of yester-yesteryear, there's a lot of weight on the shoulders of the entire team, but this group may have the most pressure; and on top of it all, they'll have to protect a new starter at quarterback.
Fortunately, I've seen Brey Cook and the rest of the linemen in person, and I can tell you, these guys have some very broad shoulders. See you in 74 days.
