Here's the recap from UA:

FAYETTEVILLE - The University of Arkansas football team practiced Thursday afternoon inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

After practice defensive coordinator and secondary coach Chris Ash spoke to the media about the progression of the defense thus far into the spring season.

"They are getting better," Coach Ash said. "They still have a long way to go; they keep working hard, it’s about understanding the details about their fundamentals."

Coach Ash also commented on improving weather allowing the Razorbacks to get outside and practice.

"It is nice to get outside," Coach Ash said. "It is really good for us to get outside and practice in the wind a little bit and be in the stadium. It is a nice change of pace. Unfortunately, we have been indoors due to weather, but hopefully with the weather change we will be outside more often."

Practice continues this week with workouts scheduled for Saturday. Arkansas’ spring practices culminate in the Red-White Spring Game, sponsored by Cox, on April 20 at 2 p.m. inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Admission to the game is free.
