Three Year Plan – Mike Anderson likes the direction his team and program is heading. Through seven games, his team's scoring has risen, and it isn't because of the NCAA's "you touch me, it's a foul" rules implemented at the beginning of the season. Arkansas got a solid neutral court win on national television, and played decently against a top notch Gonzaga team. There is finally cause for optimism within the program and, I for one, couldn't be more excited about this season.
Clemson – The weather might keep a lot of fans at home, but the Clemson game is going on as scheduled. Read my Q&A with the Clemson site (in which the comment section is legitimately an ACC football message board). We're talking about the Hog Call, the season's expectations, and Michael Qualls. Check it out.
Football Power Poll – Well, at least we're not last, guys. Kentucky has been so nice as to put a chokehold on the 14th spot. Like 2012, 2013 was a season to forget, and I'm not sure we're exactly rushing for football season to return. But in the meantime, and all seriousness, get out and watch the Hogs basketball team. And if you go to a game, and they lose, you can blame me. Just fill the seats, people. Kikko says to fill the seats. So we must fill them.
Arkansas WBB – When was the last time an Arkansas team won in Phog Allen Fieldhouse? I'm just going to assume it's been quite some time. Tom Collen's women's team defeated the Kansas Jayhawks Wednesday night to improve to 9-0 on the season. Fatigue was no a factor for Arkansas, even after having played three road games in a six day span. Collen has his squad soaring, and a team to watch out for in conference play and beyond.
