The Arkansas football team received good news today, as they gained a commitment today from Anthony Brown, a defensive back from Milan, Tennessee.
The six-foot, 185-pound athlete is listed as the number 12 player in the state of Tennessee by 247Sports and is rated as a composite 3-star athlete. He chose the Hogs over Tennessee, Indiana, Illinois, and others.

As a junior for Milan, Brown played on both sides of the ball. According to Gabe Brooks of 247Sports, Brown took snaps at running back, wide receiver, quarterback, and safety. Offensively, he accounted for over 1,500 yards of offense and found the end zone 25 times.
For the Hogs, it is assumed that he will contribute in the secondary with Jalen Catalon likely headed to the NFL at the end of the 2021 season, but Brown can also provide depth on the special teams unit as well. His speed is something that sets him apart from the rest of the pack, as he is deceptively fast on the field.
The Razorbacks are now up to 18 commits in the 2022 class, and rank number eight in the SEC, 22 nationally.
