FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Hayden Henry was a man on a mission on Saturday. He helped complete the mission with a dominant effort in Arkansas’ win over the 15th ranked Texas Longhorns. Henry earned national defensive player of the week honors from the Walter Camp Football Foundation.

On Saturday, Henry recorded a career night for the Razorbacks at his will linebacker position. He had 15 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and led the Razorback defense in tackles during the Razorbacks’ 40-21 win which was a first in his Hog career.

The redshirt senior linebacker is the fourth Arkansas student-athlete to earn Walter Camp National Player of the Week honors since 2004. Henry is the first since former Razorback quarterback Ryan Mallett (Sept. 19, 2010).

The Razorbacks are back in action on Saturday hosting Georgia Southern inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18 and will be broadcast on the SEC Network.
