NCAA Tournament Bracket Set; Arkansas Razorbacks Get 5-Seed, Will Face Wofford

The Hogs' best season in many years results in a trip to Jacksonville to begin the NCAA Tournament

Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

At long last, it's finally official: the Arkansas Razorbacks are returning to the NCAA Tournamnet. The bracket is set. Everything's ready to go.

The Hogs are a 5-seed being sent to Jacksonville and will play Wofford on Thursday. If Arkansas wins, they'll play the winner of the North Carolina vs Harvard matchup.

The Wofford Terriers are 28-6 and champions of the Southern Conference. Their best win from back in non conference was against NC State. They've only lost twice since New Year's, on the road at The Citadel and at home to Chattanooga. We'll have more in the coming days between now and Thursday.

Obviously, if Arkansas wins, facing another inconsistent team in North Carolina on Saturday would be interesting - if they get by Harvard, who always seems to be a tough out. If Arkansas gets to the Sweet 16, Wisconsin is the favorite to be there against the Hogs. Arizona and Baylor are the favorites to make it to the regional final on the other side of the bracket.

The Razorbacks earned the seed with 26 wins up to this point, including 7 road wins, 4 top 50 wins, 2 neutral site wins, 12 top 100 wins. It's the program's best regular season this century, and the best seed since the 1999 team earned a 4-seed.
