I'm glad they were better today, but it's pretty disappointing they were sloppy yesterday - both because it was just their first day in any pads and you'd think there'd be more urgency this early in camp (anyone else flashback to the 1st half of the spring game?), and because the UA told us yesterday "concentration was at an all-time high." Well, Brandon Allen says they "didn't come out with the right mindset."
I'm not one to complain too much about media getting shut out of practices - I get it - but to do so while the coaches/players and SID staff send out mixed messages like that, that's a bad look.
