Arkansas practiced inside on Tuesday afternoon.
Jim Chaney noted that the offense is doing a lot of things very well and, but his biggest concern from the scrimmage was quarterback protection. There were several sacks called during the scrimmage, although I felt on some instances the quarterbacks could've avoided them in a live situation.
That being said, the offense is still progressing from last season:
"You've got to take it all and look at every play individually and correct the things you can get done and continue moving on," Coach Chaney said. "What I was pleased with after watching all that scrimmage, is I thought our effort level was great. Our attitude remains high. I think we're playing very hard. Quite honestly, the scrimmages that we had the previous season, I don't remember hearing it the way I heard this one. I think our defense tackled exceptionally well and I thought that was very good to see. It's making us a better offense."
Arkansas Rivals.com reporter Danny West reported on Twitter that AJ Derby practiced at tight end on Tuesday. It seems like that's a sign he won't be the #2 quarterback this season. We'll have to wait likely until Saturday to get word on that from Bret Bielema.
Quarterback Brandon Allen continued what has become some of spring practice's most consistent theme: praising new receivers Jared Cornelius and Cody Hollister.
After rumors spread over spring break regarding Alex Collins' happiness at Arkansas, the sophomore running back was made available to the media for the first time since then on Tuesday. He addressed working his way back into the team's good graces after being suspended for a week in February.
Collins: I just have to keep grinding and just keep proving myself … I think I've gained that trust back with my teammates and (coaches).

All seems good on that front. Bielema emphatically stated after the Saturday scrimmage that rumors of Collins transferring or being suspended for games this fall or general unhappiness are false.
This was Arkansas' seventh practice of the spring, which means they're about halfway through. They have seven more practices before the spring game on April 26th.
