The Razorbacks let yet another game slip away against a highly ranked team, and although the Hogs lost some votes, not much has changed - at least in the AP Poll.
Arkansas lost all of their votes in the Coaches Poll (Coach B?) after the single-point loss, but still have 10 votes in the AP.
While, obviously, Arkansas has lost their last two games and no team in either poll has more than two losses, I also think Arkansas is a better team than Marshall, who is now ranked after rolling undefeated through this daunting schedule.
I'm really interested to see if that kind of crap happens in the Selection Committee polls, which we're getting closer and closer to seeing.
In other polls news, Mississippi State is your new #1 team in the land. Ole Miss is #3. Both schools blew out ranked opponents yesterday in Auburn and Texas A&M. Alabama stayed put at #7. Next week's opponent, Georgia, is up to #10.
LSU is the second team out of the polls after beating Florida by a field goal, and Missouri dropped out of the polls again after being shut out at home by Georgia, and I'd really like to know the five coaches who did vote for them.
