Here's the recap from UA:

FAYETTEVILLE - The University of Arkansas football team continued spring practice on Thursday with a workout inside Walker Pavilion.

After practice, defensive coordinator Chris Ash spoke to the media. He talked about the overall progress that the defense has made during spring practice.

"There were a lot of positives shown during the scrimmages," Coach Ash said. "We did some red zone today and the guys have just gotten it. I’m definitely happy with the progress"

Coach Ash also talked about positional improvements, individual performances, and the goals for the defense moving forward.

"We are ahead of schedule," Coach Ash said. "I’m happy about that. Now it is about fine tuning things. There’s still a long way to go, but the improvement has been outstanding. Hopefully we’ll continue to trend upward."

Practice continues this Saturday, and the spring practice period wraps up next week with three workouts. Arkansas' spring practices culminate in the Red-White Spring Game, sponsored by Cox, on April 20 at 2 p.m. inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Admission to the game is free.
