When teams are practicing against each other and the next game is a few months away, content can be a little hard to come by at times. The spring lull has hit Fayetteville as the team just continues to prepare for next week’s spring game. Here are a few things to keep an eye out on this Saturday’s game.

Before the spring game kicks off, the NFL Draft will start. There almost certainly wont be any Hogs taken in the first round but you can stroll down memory lane with a look back at the 22 former first round Hogs. The later rounds should feature a few Hogs like Deatrich Wise, Keon Hatcher, and Dan Skipper. Where they end up going is anyone’s guess.

Arkansas Baseball dropped a tough series to Auburn to fall to a tie with the Tigers in second of the SEC standings. They get back in action with their final non conference game of the year against Kansas State in Kaufmann Stadium, home of the Kansas City Royals. Your preview with all the information of how to watch is right here.

The chance to go back to Kansas City also brings back some nostalgia for Dave Van Horn. Van Horn grew up in nearby Grandview so the chance to play in the Royals stadium is a bit of a homecoming for him. He also shared some childhood memories of going to Royals games and watching guys like George Brett, so there’s no doubt this is a special mid week matchup for him.

Joe Johnson continues to be one of the more entertaining stories in the NBA Playoffs, he leads a group of veterans making charges in the first round. After his Game 1 buzzer beater, Iso Joe took over in the fourth quarter of game 4 where he was 6-for-7 in “clutch time.”
