We've reached that glorious time of the year when the season's first few game times are beginning to be rolled out.
The Big 12 announced some of their early games today and since Arkansas is playing at TCU in Week 2, the game falls under their TV contracts. They've scheduled the game for a 6:00 CST kickoff on either ESPN or ESPN2.
This is the second game of the year to get a kickoff time. CBS announced earlier on Wednesday that the Missouri game would get the Friday-after-Thanksgiving treatment at 1:30 pm again. Expect the announcements for Arkansas' first couple of home games against Louisiana Tech and Texas State from the SEC soon.
TCU will be coming into the game following their season opener against South Dakota State. The Horned Frogs went 11-2 last year with an epic comeback win over Oregon in the Alamo Bowl.
Arkansas holds a 43-23-2 all time series advantage over the Horned Frogs. This will be the first meeting between the two programs since Arkansas was a member of the Southwest Conference. TCU will make a return trip to Fayetteville in 2017.
