It's Sweet 16 time. Since it's likely to come up, yes, it's been 20 years since Arkansas' last run to the Sweet 16.
The game itself wasn't particularly memorable, but it's historically noteworthy for basically two reasons: the Hogs haven't made it back since, and because it is one of John Calipari's many, many wins he was later forced to vacate.
Ah, memories.
Arkansas reached that game as a 12-seed and heavy underdog against top seeded UMass, and it didn't go well. They can't brag about it, though, because again, UMass had to vacate that win and many, many others that season.
So on a happier note, here are highlights of the Razorbacks' win to put them back into the Sweet 16, a 9-point win over 4-seed Marquette (after the Hogs upset 5-seed Penn State in the opening round).
