A fifth-year senior, Turner played in 45 games his career, starting the final 25 of them. He was elected captain by his teammates as a senior and was the primary communicator on the back end of the nation's No. 10 defense. Turner posted 65 tackles with one interception and four pass breakups as a senior. In 2013, Turner led the team with 97 total tackles and also picked off two passes.
