Mitchell played his senior season as Arkansas' starter at the strongside linebacker position and also contributed on special teams. The fifth-year senior helped the Razorback defense post back-to-back shutouts over No. 17 LSU and No. 8 Ole Miss in Arkansas' final two home games of the season, including 9 tackles vs LSU. In 2013, Mitchell made 77 total tackles and played in 11 games with eight starts.
