Spread

Ole Miss is currently listed at (-10) with an O/U (50).  Arkansas' style of play tends to lend itself toward close games, so we'll take the Hogs with the points, and also the over.

Weather

57 degrees and a 0% chance of rain at kickoff.  Chance of showers throughout the earlier part of the day in Oxford, but the game should be dry.

Notes

If there’s a game left on the schedule where the Arkansas offense needs to be the best asset to the Arkansas defense, this game against Ole Miss is it.  Ole Miss’s strengths on offense are definitely Arkansas’s weaknesses.  They pass well both long and short over the middle and they have large receivers who are tough to bring down in the open field. The coverage is often spotty, especially over the middle of the field and DB’s tackling has been a weakness for, what seems, forever.  For Arkansas to succeed on Saturday afternoon they’ll need to own the time of possession.  Keep the ball for long, brutalizing, rush heavy drives and, of course, conclude those drives with touchdowns in the red zone. Getting a bit lucky on the defensive side of the ball and having Chad Kelly throw it to the wrong team once or twice would be quite the added bonus.

Players to watch: WR #1 Laquon Treadwell, WR #8 Quincy Adeboyejo, DT #5 Robert Nkemdiche
