Kiero Small Kitten Update – Remember back several weeks ago when I brought you the story of my roommate and his girlfriend finding a home for a lost kitten, and it just happened to wind up on Kiero Small's doorstep? Well now, I can tell you that the kitten has a name. Kiero named the kitten "Choppa." Yes, that is a terrific name for a cat to say the least. Kiero continues to show us why he is the best.
A Win's A Win – Maybe you didn't watch a whole lot of the Arkansas-Savannah State game last night. Or maybe you didn't catch the second half because the sheer ugliness of the first half nearly caused permanent blindness. Either way, Arkansas curb-stomped the Tigers in the second half on a weird, weird night in Bud Walton Arena. Ky Madden led all scoring with 21 points, and Savannah State turned the ball over five times in its first five possessions of the game. It was also the seventh-lowest attended game in BWA history at just over 5,000.
Oh, and Michael Qualls sat the entire first half against Savannah State for being late to practice. He had this to say this morning ...

UA vs Ark. State – Yes, we're still doing this. Whenever a die-hard football fan in Arkansas, or an Arkansas State fan tries to mask the pain of yet another coach leaving for another job, the Arkansas vs Arkansas State message board battle rears its head. It's not going to happen. Ever. Never going to happen. But instead of a thread speculating who the next A-State head coach will be, it always comes back to this. Please, just stop.
Diamond Hogs – As we inch closer and closer to the spring semester, talk of Arkansas baseball is sure to pick back up. Recently, Arkansas' 2014 recruiting class has gotten a bit of recognition, and has been ranked ninth nationally, according to Perfect Game USA. The class includes five prospects in the top 200 players nationally, and 11 in the top 500. Dave Van Horn has a lot of holes to fill after last season, but he's well on his way to taking Arkansas back to Omaha.
