Loggains Gains Second Tight End Commitment In As Many Days with Addition Of Hamm

Arkansas and its tight end room gained even more big news on Saturday night as they gained a commitment from 2023 prospect Jayden Hamm.

The 6’6 225 pound tight end chose Arkansas over several schools including Michigan Penn State and Oklahoma State.

“It was like just the right choice,” said Hamm.

He visited Arkansas in June and built a very good relationship with new tight ends coach Dowell Loggains and the rest of the Razorback staff.

“The relationship I have with the staff and everything they have to offer me as a player and a student is why I wanted to make it home.”

Arkansas received a commitment from fellow 2023 tight end prospect Shamar Easter of Ashdown, (Ark.) on Friday. The addition of these two really replenish a position group of dire need. The staff have been plugging and playing different skill players at tight end during camp but have their studs in Hudson Henry and Blake Kern.

Hamm is a four-star tight end that is ranked as the 259th overall prospect in the class of 2023 according to 247sports composite rating system. He is also the 17th ranked tight end and the third best player in the state of Kansas.
With the addition of Hamm, the Hogs rose to seventh in the 2023 team rankings.
