Arkansas Fight SEC Predictions, Week 2

Now Is the Time for Your Overreactions

One thing I know about college football fans: we will overvalue any little sample size we can get. There’s only twelve regular season games in a normal year, and that first game seems to take forever to get here (and moreso in 2020). So, we pick at that first game like a chicken bone, looking for any sinew of information that’ll tell us what’s going to happen the rest of the season.

Is Mike Leach going to easily pass roughshod all over the SEC, or is Bo Pelini secretly in his “late career John Chavis” phase?

Is Georgia’s offense as bloodless as it looked on Saturday, or did Arkansas actually make a little bit of improvement on defense?

Is Kyle Pitts the greatest tight end to ever play the game, or is Ole Miss just gonna go defense-optional this season?

Did A&M really beat Vandy 17-12, or was that just the very hot fan fic I wrote?

It’s all true, and it’s all lies, but only a little bit so. We need more tape.

Using only the latest analytics and deep, deep film study, here’s how the Arkansas Fight gang sees Saturday going. If you see it differently, let us know in the comments!
