The NCAA Regional selections are in, and the Razorbacks are the No. 5 national seed for the second consecutive season and will host California, TCU, and Central Connecticut State. This is a program high third straight season the Hogs will host a Regional tournament. Arkansas will play CCSU in the first game of the Regional Friday at 1pm Central.

Arkansas (41-17, 20-10 SEC, RPI 6) comes into tournament play hitting .299 (batting)/.398 (on base)/.491 (slugging) with 78 home runs and 71 stolen bases. Their pitchers have a 3.96 ERA with 9.6 K/9 and a 2.48 K/BB ratio. They have a .970 team fielding percentage.

The 2 seed in the Fayetteville Regional, California (31-18, 17-11 Pac-12, RPI 30) finished fourth in the Pac-12 and posted an impressive 15-8 road record this season. As a team, the Bears are hitting .287/.383/.498 with 80 home runs and 54 stolen bases. Their pitching staff carries a 4.13 ERA with 7.4 K/9 and a 2.03 K/BB ratio, and they field .971 as a team.

Three seed TCU (32-26, 11-13 Big 12, RPI 59) finished seventh in the Big 12 and just squeaked into the field of 64 somehow. The Horned Frogs are hitting .294/.391/.454 with 59 home runs and 70 stolen bases. They have 4.25 ERA with 9.4 K/9 and a 2.58 K/BB ratio. They are fielding .962 as a team.

Central Connecticut State (30-21, 16-8 Northeast, RPI 183) earned a spot in the tournament by coming out of the losers bracket to beat Bryant twice in two days to win the Northeast Conference Tournament Championship. The Blue Devils are hitting .260/.354/.370 with 26 home runs and 30 stolen bases. They come in with a 4.32 ERA, 5.8 K/9, and a 1.72 K/BB ratio, while fielding .968.

Arkansas is paired with the Oxford Regional where Ole Miss will host Illinois, Clemson, and Jacksonville State. As a top 8 national seed, Arkansas would host the Super Regional if they advance from their Regional play. The full NCAA Tournament bracket can be found here.
