Ingram is a Memphis native and has lots of experience in the area, both in coaching and recruiting. He had previous stops as a defensive line coach at Arkansas State, Cincinnati, Tennessee State. In 2009 he was promoted from linebackers coach to defensive coordinator at Memphis.
A graduate of Whitehaven in Memphis, he went on to play at Arkansas State before going to coach at the high school ranks. He led Melrose High School in Memphis to a 37-4 record during his time there.
Previously Daniel Da Prato was brought on to the staff, and while he’s not filling the role previously left by John Scott Jr., he’s being named a special teams analyst. He will work with Barry Lunney Jr. who is now going to be the Special Teams Coordinator.
