KenPom Prediction: Miss State 75-73
Location: Bud Walton Arena
After less than idea road swing, a Saturday at Bud Walton is usually what the doctor ordered. This weekend could prove pretty tough though with Mississippi State in town. The Bulldogs are very likely a NCAA Tournament team with a ton of size. They’ve got six players on the roster of 6’10” or taller, meaning Daniel Gafford will constantly be going up against size.

Offensively the Weatherspoon brothers lead the way. Quinndary is in his senior year and is third in the SEC in scoring with 18 points per game. Aric Holman and Abdul Ado get most of the starts in the post, but Arkansas fans are very familiar with Reggie Perry, who will get plenty of time off the bench.

The Bulldogs are going to be one of the best offensive teams the Hogs will play all year. Think like LSU on the offensive end. Their size naturally means they’re a very good offensive rebounding team, and it will be crucial for Arkansas to remain competitive on the boards. Both teams really thrive on getting steals as well, so a big advantage will be held by who ever takes care of the ball more.
