Once the calendar turned to 1994 for the Razorbacks during that magical season, they walloped SMU in their final non-conference tuneup in Bud Walton and took a 9-0 record into their SEC opener with Ole Miss.

The Rebels stood no chance before a crowd of 20,096, as they led 42-22 at halftime and cruised to a 26-point victory.

Corliss Williamson had 25 points and 10 rebounds despite fouling out, and Scotty Thurman added 15. Clint McDaniel and Roger Crawford joined both of them in double figures. As a team, Ole Miss couldn’t handle the pressure at all. The Rebels turned the ball over 30 times against the relentless 40 minutes of Hell pressure.

Ole Miss had three players foul out, and sent Arkansas to the foul line 41 times on the evening. The Razorbacks made 32 of those, led by Williamson’s 7 of 8 and Crawford’s 5 of 6.
