Baseball season is drawing closer. The first major preseason rankings are in as Perfect Game released its rankings and preseason All-America list. After their College World Series Runner Up season, Arkansas is 13th on the list, joining LSU (1), Vanderbilt (3), Florida (9), Ole Miss (10), Auburn (15), Mississippi State (17), and Georgia (22) from the SEC.
LSU, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State will all travel to Baum Stadium, and Arkansas will travel to face Vanderbilt and Auburn.
In addition to that, Four Razorbacks made the All-American list. Outfielder Heston Kjerstad was selected as a First Team All-American. Pitcher Matt Cronin and infielder Casey Martin were selected to the Second Team. And outfielder Dominic Fletcher was selected as a Third Team All-American.
More rankings should be coming out soon and D1 Baseball has already announced they will release their preseason rankings on January 14. Arkansas starts their season against Eastern Illinois for a three game series starting February 15th.
