Woo Pignic y’all!

Arkansas got their 13th commit of the 2019 class. Myles Brooks, a safety who decommitted from Baylor last month, announced the decision to commit to Arkansas this morning.

The safety from Pflugerville, TX chose the Hogs over previously mentioned Baylor, Ole Miss, Colorado State, and SMU. Brooks is a 6-foot-2, 190 safety and is part of a clear emphasis on Texas recruiting for this coaching staff. Arkansas is up to 13 commits and five are from the Lone Star State. In the past three seasons, Arkansas didn’t have more than four in a single class. Chad Morris has already cleared that number and will almost certainly add more.

Brooks is a 3-star by 247Sports and has the Hogs knocking on the door of a top-25 class. Right now the Razorbacks are ranked 31st by the recruiting site. If things go right with a few more recruits currently at the event, especially in state guys like Hudson Henry and Treylon Burks, then the Hogs will be knocking on the door and putting together their most successful class in a while.
