Arkansas Sweeps Alabama
After getting swept, Arkansas got back home and pulled off a sweep of their own. There were plenty of good offensive performances but the best came on the mound. Just look at these numbers from Barrett Loseke.
After a DOMINATING week on the hill, Barrett Loseke is your @SEC Pitcher of the Week!

Loseke recored 25 outs this weekend and 17 of them via strikeouts. He also allowed just two hits and got either the win or the save in every game this weekend. That’s dominant.
Florida Wins Series vs. Auburn
Florida beat out Auburn this weekend and now has a three game lead on the Hogs and a four game lead on the rest of the Eastern Division. There’s not much else to say about the Gators at this point except they’re running away with the country’s top conference. Arkansas would have to be near perfect to catch the Gators in the regular season.
Ole Miss Wins Series vs. LSU
The Rebels set the tone with a 14-3 blowout in the opener of this one. An 11-run sixth inning blew the doors open in that one. Thomas Dillard’s three run bomb in the finale gave them the series win.

South Carolina Wins Series at Vanderbilt
The Gamecocks have a ton of momentum in the SEC now and it’s put them in third in the east. The final game of the series was a wild, back and forth game, but Carolina got three in the top of the 8th to tie things and the game winner in the 9th.
Kentucky Wins Series vs. Missouri
Want another wild series? Here’s one for you. There were crooked numbers being put up on the board almost all weekend in Lexington. After Kentucky came out on top of a 2-1 pitchers duel to open things, Missouri came back with a 14-11 victory, then Kentucky finished off the weekend with a 11-10 win.
Texas A&M Wins Series at Miss State
The Aggies are still in striking distance in the west after something the Hogs couldn’t do, a successful weekend in Starkville. After splitting the first two games Texas A&M took advantage of some poor defense from the Bulldogs, they won 7-4 in a game where Miss State had four errors.
Georgia Wins Series vs. Tennessee
The Bulldogs got a bit of a reprieve from losing a lot of close series. They won the first two to take the series but couldn’t get the sweep. It managed to keep them treading water above the mess of teams in the middle of the conference but there isn’t any distance between them.
