Another Big Recruiting Weekend Set For LSU Game

Plenty of recruits for this class and upcoming ones heading to the Hill.

NCAA Football: Arkansas at Texas A&M Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

The Hogs had a huge recruiting weekend for the Bama game earlier in the year, this upcoming weekend will be another chance for the Hogs to bring in some of their biggest remaining targets and commits. The early signing period is coming up and Arkansas will want to make sure they’re running through the finish line there. It’s also a big weekend for the upcoming class of 2020. Chad Morris will need to string multiple strong classes together to complete his rebuild. But for right now, they currently have 23 players committed in the upcoming class, but with the roster turnover, that list still could grow.

Here’s who is going to be in town this weekend.

Official Visits (All are Class of 2019)

  • Devin Bush (CB, 4-star, Uncommitted)
  • Lakia Henry (ILB, 4-star, Tennessee Commit)
  • Gregory Brooks (CB, 3-star, Mississippi State Commit)
  • Malik Chavis (WR, 3-star, Arkansas Commit)

The big name here this weekend is Bush, who is one of the few blue chip guys still on the board for Arkansas at this point. Arkansas has had relative success getting players from the state of Louisiana and he along with Adonis Otey could clamp down a really solid CB group in the Class of 2019. Henry was an interesting name to come up, as he’s one of the top-5 JUCO players in this class, but he sounds pretty firmly committed to Tennessee.

Class of 2019 Unofficial Visits

  • Collin Clay (DE, 4-star, Arkansas Commit)
  • De’Monte Russell (DE, 4-star, Mississippi State Commit)
  • Taurean Carter (DE, 3-star, Arkansas Commit)
  • Beaux Limmer (OT, 3-star, Arkansas Commit)
  • Drew Vest (OT, 3-star, Central Arkansas Commit)
  • Noah Rauschenberg (K, 2-star, Uncommited)
  • Richard Hunt (TE, Unrated, Uncommitted)
  • Rod Farmer (CB, Unrated, Uncommitted)

Class of 2020 Unofficial Visits

  • Bryson Eason (ILB, 4-star, Uncommitted)
  • Martavius French (ILB, 4-star, Uncommitted)
  • Javian Hester (WR, 4-star, Uncommitted)
  • Marvin Mims (WR, 4-star, Uncommitted)
  • Chris Morris (OT, 4-star, Uncommitted)
  • Myles Slusher (CB, 4-star, Uncommitted)
  • Collin Sullivan (WR, 4-star, Uncommitted)
  • Omari Thomas (OT, 4-star, Uncommitted)
  • Ze’Vian Capers (WR, 3-star, Uncommitted)
  • Ray Curry Jr. (OT, 3-star, Uncommitted)
  • Jaden Hullaby (RB, 3-star, Uncommitted)
  • Keith Miller (WR, Unrated, Uncommitted)
  • Sevion Morrison (RB, 3-star, Uncommitted)
  • Money Parks (WR, 3-star, Uncommitted)
  • Jabari Small (ATH, 3-star, Uncommitted)
  • Blayne Toll (TE, 3-star, Uncommitted)

That’s a good bunch of blue chip quality guys at a wide variety of positions. Chad Morris is certainly working to get a quick start on this class, especially at positions like linebacker and offensive line.
