Not long after having an offensive lineman decommit from the Hogs, creating a huge hole in the otherwise great 2019 recruiting class, the Hogs were able to plug that hole some. Dylan Rathcke announces he will be committing to Arkansas today.

Rathcke is a 6-foot-5, 295 lbs. lineman from Baton Rouge. He made an unofficial visit to the Hogs during the Vanderbilt weekend, and committed after making an official visit to Kentucky this past weekend. He also held offers from Louisville, Arkansas State, and Colorado State.
With Joseph Stone’s recent reopening of his recruiting and Rathcke’s pledge, the offensive line group for this class is back at 3, along with Brady Latham and Beaux Limmer. Rathcke is rated similarly to Limmer, but is slightly higher according to 247Sports, making him the highest rated offensive lineman in the class. Finding quality on the offensive line has been the biggest need in this late recruiting push from Chad Morris and his staff. While the overall class ranking is excellent, there has been a very visible hole in quality at the offensive line position. Especially with a handful of seniors including Hjalte Froholdt leaving the program due to graduation this year. Hopefully they can hit on a couple diamonds in the rough with this current group.
