The streak came to an end for Alex Collins and Baltimore as he scored in each of the last two weeks but the Ravens did not win the games. They had previously won each of the games in which he scored a touchdown. Collins is averaging 3.7 yards per carry and now has 7 touchdowns (1 receiving) on the season.
New England’s Trey Flowers has been busy over the past two weeks, recording 8 tackles, including 2 for a total loss of 6 yards, and half a sack. Through the first 8 weeks of the season Flowers graded out as the best edge defender in the NFL at 90.8.
It was reported this week that Hunter Henry, who tore his ACL in May, has a chance to return this season for the Chargers. Though a long shot, the Chargers are currently in good position to make a playoff push, which would improve the chances of Henry’s return if physically able.
Patrick Beverly is seeing more playing time lately for the Clippers and has scored in double digits in half of his last 6 games.
Bobby Portis will be out for 3-5 more weeks after spraining his MCL a couple of weeks ago.
Dallas Keuchel was awarded his 4th career Gold Glove award this week. Three years after winning the AL Cy Young, Keuchel will be looking for another large contract in free agency this offseason.
