The Hogs continue to pick up commitments at a rapid-fire pace. On Friday they landed the commitment of Georgia safety Korey Hernandez - Arkansas’ 6th commitment since June 17th.
Hernandez had several offers to choose from although none from any other Power 5 schools. He does report offers from Army, Navy, Southern Miss, South Florida, Toledo, Tulane and many more. He’s rated a 3-star propsect on Rivals and a 2-star on 24/7.
Arkansas has been able to pull one or two players out of Georgia for the last few years, so Hernandez continues that trend. Arkansas just offered Hernandez earlier this week and he committed without even seeing the campus in Fayetteville. Bret Bielema in the past has been hesitant in accepting commitments from players who’ve never been on campus but he seems to be loosening that restriction.
Hernandez is the 15 commitment in Arkansas’ class. It’s filling up quickly.
