One of the the biggest stories of Arkansas' 2016 recruiting class was the number of signees Arkansas drew from South Louisiana. The Razorbacks signed four players along the I-10 corridor in February, and they already have two pledges from the region for next year with Tuesday's commitment of lineman Dwayne Fisher..
Fisher is from Marrero, Louisiana and goes to the same school as future Hog linebacker De'Jon Harris. Fisher is rated a 3-star recruit on 247 but hasn't been rated yet on other sites. He chose Arkansas over offers from Mississippi State, Colorado. Louisiana-Monroe and others.
The recruiting reporters are saying he's likely to play offensive line at Arkansas although he played both sides in high school. And as we see with Hjalte Froholdt this spring, nothing is set in stone at this point.
Fisher is Arkansas' 5th commitment in the 2017 class and the first lineman.
